Big the Musical- Adult Cast!
The classic 1987 motion picture fantasy bursts onto the stage in the unforgettable theatrical experience, Big The Musical. Featuring a witty, moving, and insightful book by John Weidman (Assassins, Pacific Overtures, Road Show) and a dazzling, energetic, heartfelt, contemporary score by David Shire and Richard Maltby, Jr. (Baby, Closer Than Ever, Starting Here, Starting Now) Big is a perfect show for audiences of all ages!
Josh Baskin is sick of being an awkward kid. At a carnival, he makes a wish to the Zoltar machine to become "big". To his shock, his wish is granted. After an understandably awkward beginning, Josh is forced to do "adult" things like getting a job and a girlfriend. In the end he discovers there's much more to being an adult than he's bargained for, and learns we must all grow up at our own pace, in our own time.

Please arrive in plenty of time of your audition and make sure you know your time slot and aren’t late.
Prepare an audition song (either Musical Theatre or Non-Musical Theatre). This song should showcase your vocal range, talent and your ability to perform through song. Do not sing something from the show.
Please prepare a second contrasting song- this will only be used if we feel like we need to see something else.
Bring a backing track on a device that can be plugged into/bluetooth’d to a speaker.
Audition forms will be sent our nearer the time, this will help us understand everyone’s availability etc. You must have completed a form to audition.
Please have a knowledge of what parts you'd like to be considered for. If you don't mind which part, you can put that on your form. There is an audition pack to download at the bottom of the page with lots of information about each character.
